recently stayed at Travelodge Rhyl Seafront and, for a straightforward coastal break, it delivers exactly what you need. The biggest asset is unquestionably the location — step outside and you’re directly on Rhyl’s promenade with uninterrupted views across the Irish Sea. For early morning walks or sunset air, it’s ideal. The hotel itself is simple and functional. Rooms are clean, well-maintained and equipped with the essentials: comfortable king-size bed, decent shower pressure, and tea/coffee facilities. It’s not luxury, but that’s not the promise — it’s practical, affordable accommodation in a prime position. Noise levels were minimal during my stay, and the blackout curtains helped ensure a solid night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and approachable, happy to assist with check-in queries and local recommendations. Being close to local attractions such as Marine Lake, Rhyl Pavilion Theatre and the town centre makes it convenient whether you’re visiting as a couple, solo traveller, or with family. Parking availability is a bonus in a seafront location, and having food options within walking distance means you’re not reliant on driving once you’ve arrived. Overall, Travelodge Rhyl Seafront offers strong value for money. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable base right on the coast without paying premium hotel prices, this is a dependable option. Location does the heavy lifting here — and it does it well.

Not sure if the previous occupant had some sneaky ciggies in the toilet, but the bathroom did smell of cigarettes. However, the whole room was clean and comfortable. But, what made my stay excellent was Jamie who greeted me on arrival and took my order in the restaurant in the evening. Hadden served the food and both guys were friendly and helpful.

Just arrived and was pleasantly surprised. Not stayed in a Travel Lodge before. Was met at reception by a friendly member of staff. Informed of breakfast times and Bar opening times. Tea, coffee etc available in the room. More supplies were openly and freely available at reception. You help yourself. Parking is free. You need to register your car on the tablet at reception. Right on the sea front for those wanting to walk their dogs or walk off breakfast. There was only a continental breakfast available at the time we were there. Well worth staying here. We are booking again very soon.

Great place to stay. There's parking. Nice view. And the staff was great! Especially Don/Dom in reception. The room was clean. Only con was, there's no soap or shampoo inside the dispensers! There was only a small bottle of soap with half a soap inside.

I've never stayed in this particular Travelodge as of yet but I do occasionally pop in for breakfast early in the morning and I will say that the restaurant is very clean and accommodating. The Breakfast options are plentiful (plus all you can eat) and very tasty. The full English option on offer is well cooked but not overly done also not to greasy either. The chef (Collette) does a great Job to be honest not forgetting very friendly and professional. I will be calling back again as well. 5 stars out of 5 from me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Decided to book a room rather than travel back after show at Theatre next door. Not expecting much other than a bed for the night. Totally surprised at every turn. Lovely, attentive welcome on arrival. Room with a sea view which was toasty warm and clean. Comfortable bed and plenty of tea supplies. Ate on site before theatre and was served freshly cooked good tasty food. Had planned an early breakfast purely so not faced with congealed, lukewarm mess. Overslept and went down at 9.30am to a totally fresh tasty breakfast. Food Stations replenished as required not bulk cooked and left to dry up. It was really tasty. Every member of staff we came across had a smile on their face, were attentive to our needs and appeared to all work well together giving the whole experience a 5 star experience.
